Fighting Fire With Fire was founded by Paul Neuman, a writer/journalist/podcaster who once upon a time received a "best feature story of the year" award from the California Newspaper Publishers Association. He is a veteran volunteer for causes who, over the years, has worked in various capacities for a handful of elected offices (state and local). Neuman is a past elected member and current associate member of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party and serves on its resolutions committee. He belongs to various Democratic clubs while sitting on the executive board of some, and has a long history of involvement and leadership in non-partisan neighborhood, community, and civic organizations.
